Glaucous Gull at Aberafan

I have been building a website for a few months now, when I have loaded sufficient photos i`ll release the address. I found these two photos which I thought I had lost.

Oriental Turtle Dove in Oxon.

I eventually made it up to Chipping Norton to see

 this Dove today. Shame it had to be viewed through a window, and in poor light, also too far.Never really expected to get any shots, just glad to see it! Still a new bird for me and possibly the only tick this year!

Lesser Scaup at Eglwys Nunnydd

This female showed quite well this morning with a little light which became too bright late morning.
For no apparent reason it just left the Tufted and Pochard flock and flew to the middle of the reservoir.

Lesser Scaup

Had an hour or so spare yesterday, so decided on the Lesser Scaup at Cosmeston.

As usual I seem to miss the sun, waited over an hour and half for the light to improve, but it just got worse. Suppose there is always next time.

Black Redstart

This superb male has been around Penarth headland since December. Unfortunately I chose the wrong day to photograph it. A little more sun would have helped.

Chough

A single Chough along the Coast this morning. Much easier to photograph than when in a group.

Little Owl

At last the Little Owl had showed itself this morning, have been trying to photograph these since October.

Very clever these Owls, they are able to understand the word Canon!
